Prayer
If you’d like to receive prayer after this morning’s
service, have a word with Chris, Ruth, Sue or David
and they’ll be happy to arrange this with you.
Special Prayer For Today
Gracious Father,
revive your Church in our day,
and make her holy, strong and faithful,
for your glory's sake in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
St Luke's News
Help Required During the current building programme we require people to give up a bit of time either on a Saturday morning at 10.00am (for about an hour) or after the service on a Sunday. The more people who are able to lend a hand will make this task of getting the church ready for our Sunday services a lot easier.
Prayer Breakfast The next Prayer Breakfast will be on Thursday 5th August from 7am to 8am at Victory Christian Centre. All welcome.
Organ Recital You are invited to the Church of the Holy Spirit (on Tempest Road
LS11) on Saturday 7th August at 2.00pm for an Organ Recital by Peter Storey.
The recital will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to explore this fascinating Parish Church, part of the Treasures Revealed in Leeds Faith Trail 2010. All welcome.
Joint Meeting The members of St. Luke’s PCC & spouses are invited to a faith supper and meeting at St. Peter’s Hunslet Moor on Monday 9th August at 6.00pm. The objective of the evening is for us all to begin to build up relationships as we move to a closer working relationship. Please bring refreshments to share.
Cream Tea at the Vicarage Please come for afternoon tea at the vicarage on Sunday 15th August at 3pm. The cost will be £3 which includes drinks and homemade cake. Please invite your friends along too – the more the merrier!
