An Act of Renewal of Commitment

Christ has no body now but ours,

No hands, no feet on earth but ours.

Ours are the eyes through which he

looks compassion on the world.

Ours are the feet with which he goes about to do good.

And ours are the hands with which he blesses all the world.

St Theresa of Avila (adapted) (1515-1582)
