Our main worship services are on Sundays at 10:00 am. Our services are informal and you do not need to be a member of the Church or be experienced in Christian worship to join in.
We don't use books - all the songs and prayers are displayed on a screen for you to join in with (if you wish), and we have a worship group to help us with music and singing.
A typical service starts with a song and an opening prayer followed by a short presentation which introduces the theme of the service. There will then be more worship songs, bible readings, a talk, and prayers. There are usually separate activites for school age children during the service . Babies and toddlers are welcome to stay with their parents in the service, although there is a creche/play room available if parents prefer.
If it is a service of Holy Communion then bread and wine is shared (as a sacrament) at the front of the church for those who wish to come forward and recieve this.
After the service we serve tea and coffee and meet together informally.
Oh, and there is a collection during the service. This is how a lot of church members give towards our costs and what we give to others, but visitors and guests should not feel any obligation to donate unless they really want to!!
